The Clinical Trials Statistical & Data Management Center (CTSDMC) was established in 1989 for the purpose of coordinating the statistical and data management functions for multicenter clinical trials. The center is a unit within the Department of Biostatistics in the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa.

The CTSDMC is directed by William R. Clarke, PhD, professor of biostatistics. Collectively, the center is capable of providing the design, analysis and coordination expertise required for multi-center clinical trials. CTSDMC experience to date includes a variety of corporate and NIH-sponsored studies. The highly experienced professional staff includes project coordinators, programmers and statisticians, strongly supported by graduate student research assistants.
